I finally got around to making my own wrapping paper for Mother's Day.
I found rolls of plain, white poster paper at Staples, picked up a couple stamp ink sets at Joann's then designed some stamps myself. I took erasers, drew a pattern on them and cut them out with an x-acto blade. In case you're wondering, I don't have three mothers. Two of them were for sister-in-laws.
The stamp bunting might be my favorite part! Next time I'm going to stamp before I wrap the presents. I thought it would work better for layout, but it was more difficult to press down hard enough to get the stamps to work out.
Check number seven off the list!
those came out really nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I need some ideas for more stamp patterns to make.
