I'm Still Here...

I know, it's been fairly quiet on the blog for a long time. Between wedding season, concerts, life and issues with my website, my focus has definitely not been on the blog. The website should be back up in a couple of days and a redesign will be right around the corner, which I'm really excited about. I hope to catch up on the things I've been shooting and share it with you soon. Until then, enjoy Addy's latest glam shot. There was some gorgeous window light spilling into our room the other day and she was in a posing mood.

Caturday

Addy was a little jealous about last week's post, so I'm giving her the spotlight once again. Here she is helping me with my Alphabet photo shoot. You might be asking, what happened to that project? I lost interest in it and let it slide. My yearly goals have a lot of failures, however, a lot of unexpected things have happened as well. I can't really complain.

Anyway, here's to the only cat in my life. She's so great, I only need one!

A good Caturday post is long overdue! I'd like to introduce you to a few new furry friends. The top cat is O'Hare who always has a shocked look on her face. She's got huge eyes and I think the dark fur around her mouth makes it look like she's constantly surprised.

Next is her sister Midway, who is a giant cat. I think she's even bigger than Addy! The first thing I thought of when I saw her was the Missing Missy design poster. If you've never read it, make sure you click the link!

Then there's Katy, who was featured in yesterday's fr EYE day post. She only has one eye, but is extremely friendly.

Rita is the oldest of the gang and the meower.

Then there's Dinah, who sleeps a lot and gives me dirty looks.

Hopefully, the plethora of cats today makes up for the lack of Caturday posts this year.

E is for Eraser

I never dreaded the dentist growing up; every visit I was treated to a new eraser toy. I'd look through the box the dentist offered me at the end of my teeth cleaning, certain that I'd selected the best one. There were lots of dinosaurs and every animal you could imagine. I have my collection somewhere in storage, but this little cat sits beside my computer.

I always wanted to own a cat as a child, but both my brothers were highly allergic, so we stuck with dogs. This sassy little eraser cat was the closest thing to a real cat I'd see until I moved into my first apartment. Addy's been tagging along ever since.
